A healthy diet is important when caring for certain conditions, and we understand that stocking your fridge with healthy foods can sometimes be a challenge. That’s why Independence Blue Cross (IBX) is working with FareRx to offer you four weeks of food and produce deliveries at no cost to you.
How does the program work?
Your weekly delivery will contain fresh, local food and produce that are organic whenever possible. Our dietitian-approved menu is created to deliver healthy food items right to your door, with ingredients and recipes specifically designed to help manage your health. Your food and produce will be pre-selected by FareRx dietitians.
Personalized nutrition support
You may also be eligible to meet with a FareRx registered dietitian. Ask about scheduling when you register.
Schedule your deliveries
Choose the delivery window that works for you.
First, you need to register for the benefit by calling FareRx at 1-866-256-1721 (TTY/TDD: 711), Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or visit farerx.com/ibx. Then you will select when you would like to receive your four weeks of food and produce deliveries.
We offer a variety of delivery windows throughout the year for you to choose from. You can schedule your deliveries in advance for a time that best suits your needs.
Your food and produce will arrive in insulated tote bags. FareRx’s drivers will contact you before and after dropping off your food and produce and will leave them in a secure location should they be unable to reach you.
Eligibility for the food and produce program is condition-based.
