Food is Medicine Act (SB 806)

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed the Food is Medicine Act (SB 806), creating incentives for Medicaid-contracted entities and providing for the expansion of nutrition services.

Unlike the 1115-demonstration states, Oklahoma's pathway begins with state legislation that directs Medicaid contractors toward Food Is Medicine interventions.
